Rua Francisco Otaviano 177
Rio de Janeiro
A sophisticated, quiet restaurant with formal service and a giant panoramic window looking out onto a barely trafficked street across from Arpoador Beach. Moqueca is the specialty, made with shrimp, cod, lobster, crab, or octopus -- or a mix of them all. Meals are elegant and the seafood is fresh, but our favorite reason to go to Azul Marinho is to sit at its outdoor tables near the beach, enjoying early-evening appetizers, drinks, and sunset.
